PHILOSPHY of  TEACHING LANGUAGE and CULTURE

One’s mother tongue is an integral part of one’s cultural identity. In recognising this, we are reinforcing our self-identity. By having a strong foundation of who we are, we are in a better position to share and exchange cultural ideas with the wider community, thereby promoting a mutual understanding. A stronger defined self and cultural identity fosters a sense of belonging, better calibration of values and hence greater respect for basic structures and principles of our societies. More importantly, it also endorses the treasured family and societal values which is in the interest of all in Australia.
